Synopsis: Meet the bumbling Smuntz brothers, Ernie (Nathan Lane) and Lars (Lee Evans). The two have just inherited a ramshackle country home from their father (the late William Hickey, in his last role). The two are ecstatic to learn that the dilapidated house is actually a long-forgotten architectural gem with a value of the millions of dollars. They soon discover that there is a large obstacle between them and auctioning off the place for a lot of money. The house is currently inhabited by a fearless, stubborn and resourceful field mouse. The brothers try to get rid of him but don't even come close, and pretty soon it's war between the Smuntz brothers and the mouse, who proves to be a lot brighter than his hunters. Mouse Hunt uses both live and animatronic mice, and includes a hilarious cameo by Christopher Walken, who plays a slightly deranged exterminator.
