Synopsis: The Prince of Egypt tells the story of Moses and the Jews' escape from the land of the pharaoh, Rameses. The story revolves around the two brothers, Moses (voice of Val Kilmer) and Rameses (voice of Ralph Fiennes), who are close friends. Rameses is being primed to take over the land, while Moses is a freewheeling joker. But then, Moses learns the truth about his past. Moses discovers that he is Jewish, and that as a child he escaped a mass genocide by being floated down a river in a basket. Seti (Patrick Stewart), the Pharoah, has been raising him as his own son. After a confrontation with a burning bush, the truth about his past is revealed to Moses. Moses returns to Egypt, with the blessing of God, and demands that the Pharaoh, his brother Rameses, free his people from slavery. Features songs performed by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey.
