Possibly Ireland's hottest cinematic export, Colin Farrell rapidly ascended the Hollywood ladder to share the screen with some of Tinsel town's most fabled living legends. The charisma-magnet been graced with that most American of phenomenons: overnight success. Combined with the unabashed, outspoken actor grooming a hell-raiser image for himself to good effect, Hollywood has a new leading man to be reckoned with.

Previously known in Britain for roles in TV productions, Farrell earned both industry recognition and international heartthrob status for his portrayal of a young drifter recruited to fight in Vietnam in Joel Shumacher's Tigerland (2000). His obvious talent and charisma quickly won him the Boston Film Critics' Best Actor Award.
